The performance returns for funds offered under the BT Investment Funds and the BT Classic Investment Funds are calculated in accordance with industry practice. The calculation is based on the following assumptions:
- A comparison of the withdrawal value of an
investment (except the BT Cash Management Trust) at the beginning
and end of the stated periods.
- No additional investments are included except
for reinvested distributions.
- Ongoing fees are included whereas contribution
fees and income tax are excluded.
- These returns are provided to enable long-term
comparison with alternative investments. Because the calculations
occur on pre-determined dates they will not always equate to the
performance of your own investments and should be used as a guide
only. Future performance of the funds is not guaranteed. Care should
be taken in using past performance as a basis of long-term future
total projections.
- Returns for funds offered under the BT
Investment Funds and BT Classic Investment Funds are calculated in
Australian dollars. Exchange rate fluctuations between the
Australian dollar and the New Zealand dollar will affect the New
Zealand value of returns for New Zealand investors.
